Product Description
It is a flat steel cast with molten steel and pressed after cooling.
It is flat, rectangular and can be directly rolled or cut from wide strip.
The steel plate is divided according to the thickness, the thin steel plate is less than 4mm (the thinnest 0.2mm), the medium-thick steel plate is 4~60mm, and the extra-thick steel plate is 60~115mm.
Steel sheets are divided into rolling, hot rolling and cold rolling.
The width of the plate is 500~1500mm; the thickness and width are 600~3000mm. According to the type of steel, there are ordinary steel, high-quality steel, alloy steel, spring steel, stainless steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, bearing steel, silicon steel and industrial pure iron plate. According to professional purposes, there are oil drum plates, enamel plates, bulletproof plates, etc.; according to surface coatings, there are galvanized plates, tinplates, lead plates, plastic composite steel plates, etc.

There are low carbon, medium carbon and high carbon steel plates. The higher the carbon content, the more durable and stronger the sheet will be. There are further sub-categories based on thickness and use as well as the forming process. Typically carbon steel sheets are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.4mm to 80mm, widths from 1000mm to 45000mm and lengths up to 18m. But the length is customizable, which helps customers fit them into various applications. One can also use them to make cold rolled coils.
